As someone else mentioned, this never happened with my older mouse. FPS would drop so drastically when I moved the mouse as to bring everything on screen to a dead stop (0 fps). I discovered this problem fairly recently when playing Heroes of Might and Magic 6. I am stumped, and considering a Windows reinstall, though I've read on another forums about similar situations where a reinstall has not solved the problem. This however is happening on my desktop, which has never had overheating problems. I have had that problem with laptops in the past and am very aware of what it looks like. My graphics card is not over heating.never even comes close. I have since updated my graphics card ATI Radeon HD 6900 (2gig version), updated mouse software (none needed), played around with various mouse settings, did a system restore to 3 days before the problem started, C Cleaner cleaned my PC, Norton checked my PC, nothing at all revealed what is happening that is causing the lag. XCOM, League of Legends, Dragon Age Origins, all greatly drop in FPS any time the cursor moves in the slightest. No downloads or newly installed software, or anything occurring between GREAT GAMEPLAY, and OMFG IF I MOVE MY MOUSE I DIE gameplay.

This started last night in the middle of a game of League of Legends. Now any game (other than apparently Skyrim) will drop in FPS whenever I move my mouse cursor. I've been using my Steel Series Cataclysm mouse without any problems for years. I've already updated my graphic card driver and nothing changes, my graphic card is Ati radeon 5770.ĭid you ever find a solution? Mine just started doing this exact same thing. And now it work whitout ANY lag spikes when i move my mouse.

#SC2 MAC MOUSE FIX HOW TO#
So if someone know how to solve it please help me. In one night this happened and I really don't know what's causing it. Then I started League of legends, Minecraft and Warcraft 3 and the same problem occurred there. I barely finished the game and was really pissed (I still am) because I have never had this problem before and wondered what was causing it. When I came home from school this Wednesday I went to the PC to play some StarCraft 2 and immediately I knew something was wrong because as soon as I moved the mouse cursor the FPS went down to 5-15 (I normally have 60+), first I thought I had too much programs up at the same time but no, it was just StarCraft 2 and internet. Hi! This is not the only forum I've searched for help, it's like this.
